Our history
Swift Engineering Solutions was established in 1982 by Mr JDT Otto during the early development of the oil and gas industry in Mossel Bay. In 2004, Danie Otto took over the business, driving its growth and strengthening its position within the local engineering sector.
In 2023, Suzanne Otto was appointed as Director and now leads the company with a clear focus on efficiency, quality execution, and project-driven delivery.
Today, Swift Engineering Solutions operates as a streamlined engineering business, supporting clients with practical, reliable solutions across fabrication and site-based work.

Our training philosophy
Swift Engineering Solutions recognises the shortage of skills in South Africa and believes in actively creating a skills pool of artisans and tradesman for the manufacturing and marine industry in the region of Mossel Bay. We are accredited / approved by the following training institutions:
